From a being in constant reflection emerges dawn dani, the alias of Daniela. Since a young age she honed her ear by jumping from dance floor to dance floor and it is on these foundations that she now takes her steps on the storytelling side. The transition to the booth was driven by the ambition to fight social causes, but quickly realized that her personal self had a lot to say as well. Her focus is on recreating the same sensations she has always sought to experience through music and offering them to those who need.

It is in the conception of deep, dark and very individual worlds, wandering between slow-paced beats and fast rhythms always keeping the eye on dense basslines that she finds herself.

Daniela Rocha is Dawn Dani, who hails from Braga, and whose main artistic passions are photography and music. The temptation to link these two art forms is strong, because even in her music there seems to be a desire to create images and states of mind that give rise to original visual narratives. For this reason, we find her involved in the “Estudo do Meio” event series, where ambient and exploratory electronic music invites a different kind of listening, one that is unhurried and contemplative.
